Security & "Unsigned" Software Notice

LocalPDF Studio is 100% open-source and private. However, because I am an independent developer and not a massive corporation, this software is currently not digitally signed by Microsoft or Apple.

Signing certificates cost hundreds of dollars every year—money that currently comes out of my own pocket. Until the project is fully funded, you will see security warnings during installation.

Help Me Get Signed!

If you want to see LocalPDF Studio officially recognized by Windows and macOS, please consider a donation. Your support goes toward:

  • Microsoft Developer Certificate (Stops SmartScreen warnings).
  • Apple Developer Program (Stops Gatekeeper "Blocked" messages).
  • Project Infrastructure (Keeping the toolkit 100% free and offline).
